2) PowerBook G4, 12"
Now, we need tons of software for the powerbook.... everyone....please give us what you can!!!:)

you mean G5, they dont make G4 powerbook anymore.
Powerbook is not yet avaible in G5. In fact, I think Apple isn't planning to release any G5 notebook. They are moving to Macbook Pro instead.
Sure, people can borrow it as a friend, not a tax payer. Your contribution as a tax payer is = laptop price / total number of tax payers = approching 0 :)

I am having some trouble connecting to my network. I can see the Mac from Joanne's computer, but not from my laptop. (both joanne and my laptop are connected through a router).
I can't see neither PCs from the Mac. The Workgroup name is correct on Mac, but... well. I just need to read more about this networking thing I guess.
try Apple Talk, you might need Window Server on one of your PCs...that's how we setup the Mac at work...
Mini-DV just burned a DVD for me full of MAC software. I will give it to you this Sunday.

Angelini, does yours work with OSX Tiger? the old macrodia I have used to work with OS 10.1 and 10.2, but didnt' work for Tiger.

i haven't installed them onto my laptop yet, but my friend who burned the disc for me had Tiger. she has no problem using the applications. let me install them and get back to you.
looks like Macs are catching on among us. My sister is considering to get a iMac 17" Intel Core Duo for herself and kids. I checked it out at the store, looks very cool.
Sorry, Guys as one of the pioneers of the Mac, I am offically retiring from the Mac scene. I am going to Say bye bye to My G4 powerbook, and here are the reasons
PCs actaully looks better then Macs they are lighter the nthe Mac
PCs are more compact then the Macs
I am not a graphic artist.
PC notebooks are faster then the Mac.
But there is nothing that is going to take my ipod away!
